CDO optimizes complex systems governed by the nonlinear, dynamic, multiphysics, or multiresolution phenomena afforded by advanced manufacturing (AM) technologies.

Our primary effort is developing our Livermore design optimization (LiDO) structural topology optimization code for architected materials. This software surpasses virtual and prototype designs in optimizing structures, materials, multiscales, and energy.
